Four days of festival on the North Sea
Since 2005, what began as a small festival with around 500 guests has grown into one of the largest open-airs in northern Germany. Today around 60,000 music fans come to the Cuxhaven/Nordholz Sea Airport – right in the middle of the landscape where you're already on holiday. Four days of music, sea and summer, right on the coast.

More than just music
DEICHBRAND isn't only about the stage. The site has a beach area, a pool, a ferris wheel, workshops and a large supporting programme – almost a small city for a few days. And because it all sits on the coast, you can even combine the festival with real North Sea experiences like a mudflat walk.
For many people, camping is part of it – but it doesn't have to be. Nordseezimmer is only 25 km from the festival site. You celebrate all day, drive back in the evening (or at night) to a quiet room with a real bed and a private bathroom, shower in peace, and head back refreshed the next day. For anyone who loves the festival but can do without the tent, this is the most relaxed option.

By car you're at the site in around 30 minutes from Nordseezimmer. Alternatively, take the train to Cuxhaven and continue towards Nordholz. Either way, both routes are short from Otterndorf – and you won't have to worry about a long journey home after the concert.
